TRAVEL TIPS
Know When To Arrive:
One of the most important travel tips we can give you is that of security. Since 9/11, security measures all over the United States and Internationally have changed drastically. You can never be too prepared to deal with these changes, especially when leaving for your honeymoon. First and foremost, know when to arrive. If flying, take into consideration the security areas and lines at your departing airport. Always arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to when you feel you should be there. This gives leeway for traffic and any other minor setbacks.
Proper Luggage:
Another helpful hint is to know exactly what can be carried onboard an aircraft or cruise ship. The last thing couples want to deal with is arriving for their departure and learning they can not bring aboard thier bags. This can cause incredible hassels for both you and the staff of the company. Please research prior to leaving what must be checked and what is acceptable to carry with you.
Money Matters:
It's always important to be sure that you're taking enough cash with you while going on vacation. Make sure you're careful to budget even the smallest of expenses. This includes tipping, gratuity, snacks, etc. It's also a good idea to take an assortment of funds. You will some cash, credit cards and if going over seas, traveler's checks. This way, not all of your vacation money is tied up into one form. If possible, check with the hotel or resort you'll be staying at for further information on currencies and exchange rates.
